Romantic Show of Tanhe
大型歌舞《炭河千古情》是宁乡文化的灵魂。
《炭河千古情》以西周王朝灿烂的历史文化为背景，以国之重器“四羊方尊”的传奇故事为主线，演出分为《在河之洲》《炭河绝恋》《妲己艳舞》《牧野之战》《爱在宁乡》等场。在这段故事里，有巾帼红颜的倾国倾城，有生离死别的缠绵悱恻，有家仇国恨的悲愤忧患，有武王伐纣的壮怀激烈，再现了三千年前的那一场爱恨情仇。演出运用声光电等科技手段和舞台机械，万余套舞台机械与设备上天入地，在水陆空三维空间营造出全景效果。
Romantic Show of Tanhe is based on the splendid history and culture of Western Zhou Dynasty. Connected by the national treasure Four-goat Square Zun, the full story is separated by multiple plots including Riverside Love, Tanhe Romance, Royal Banquet, Battle in Muye, and Love in Ningxiang.
“关关雎鸠，在河之洲。窈窕淑女，君子好逑。”雎鸠的鸣叫带着我们穿越千年的时光，来到了美丽的炭河之畔，古老的《诗经》在这里传唱，一群少女在碧桑青草间轻歌曼舞。年轻的武王和美丽的宁儿在这里邂逅、相爱。
"By riverside, a pair of turtledoves are cooing; there is a maiden fair whom a young man is wooing". Following the tweets of turtledoves, we travel through thousands of years and land on the bank of the beautiful river Tanhe.
在妲己的唆使下，纣王烹杀了武王的兄长，并以周国的存亡为条件，胁迫武王铸造出四羊方尊。为了拯救爱人和周国的子民，宁儿替夫代祭，上演了凄美缠绵的炭河绝恋。
Enticed by Daji, King Zhou killed King Wu’s elder brother who was minced into pieces and made into meat cakes. King Zhou also threatened King Wu with the survival of his vassal state and coerced him into casting the Four-goat Square Zun.
鹿台落成之日，武王向纣王进献镇宫之宝四羊方尊。纣王大为欢喜，在鹿台设下酒池肉林，大宴四方诸侯。纸醉金迷的温柔乡中，一场决定商周历史格局的重要变革正在悄然酝酿……
When the Deer Terrace pavilion was completed, King Wu paid tribute to King Zhou with the Four-goat Square Zun. The fully-gratified King Zhou gave a banquet with wine pond and meat forest to treat the governors from all vassal states.
公元前1046年，武王亲率战车三百，虎贲三千，甲士四万五千，与数十万的纣王大军，决战于牧野，史称“牧野之战”。这是一场历史上以少胜多、以弱胜强、先发制人的战役，对中国的历史进程产生了深远的影响。
In 1046 B.C, King Wu led an army of 45,000 soldiers, along with 300 chariots and 3000 elites to fight against King Zhou who had hundreds of thousands of soldiers in Muye, which is historically-known as the Battle of Muye.
悠悠的炭河水流淌了三千年，英雄与美人的故事在这里传唱。真善美，执着与坚守，奉献与大爱，至今影响着一代又一代的宁乡人。这就是传奇之地、宁妃的故乡：宁乡。
The tranquil Tanhe witnesses the elapse of three thousand years, hearing stories of the beauty and the hero. The virtues of truth and beauty, persistence and perseverance, sacrifice and great love, have been influencing the people of Ningxiang for generations.
