In a spectacular celebration of the Year of the Horse (2026), the Spring Festival Holiday saw an extraordinary wave of enthusiasm across the Romance Parks in China, as 11 “Romantic Shows” captivated audiences with a staggering 580 shows. At the peak of the holiday, the daily number of shows reached 98, drawing more than 500,000 visitors in a single day.

Hangzhou Songcheng delivered a spectacular festive experience, with “The Romantic Show of Songcheng” headlining 103 performances during the Golden Week. Running 19 shows daily for two consecutive days, it continued to dominate major platform rankings, underscoring the enduring appeal and market strength of the Songcheng Performing Arts brand. In Xi’an, “The Romantic Show of Xi’an” took center stage with 124 performances, setting a new benchmark by staging 21 shows in one day—surpassing its own previous record of 20. This remarkable achievement once again redefined the limits of daily performances and audience turnout for large-scale tourism performances in the city.

Guangdong Romance Park celebrated its third Spring Festival since opening, with “The Romantic Show of Guangdong” staged 61 times. The venue buzzed with festive joy and rave reviews, enhanced by special guest appearances and blessings from TVB stars such as Deric Wan, Kwong Wa, Lee Kok-Lun, and Law Karying. The vibrant cultural charm of Lingnan blended beautifully with the artistic brilliance of the Romantic Show, creating a joyful spring celebration across the Greater Bay Area. “The Romantic Show of Shanghai” was performed 37 times during the holiday. Its steady popularity reflects the strong demand for highquality cultural content in firsttier cities and underscores the enduring appeal of the Romantic Show IP. Lijiang Romance Park continued to top popular travel platform rankings, its enchanting plateau landscapes and immersive performances offering visitors a captivating journey through ethnic culture, while fueling a tourism boom in western Yunnan. Meanwhile, “The Romantic Show of Guilin” delivered 64 performances, with 10 shows daily, infusing the region with vibrant energy throughout the holiday.

Across all these Romance Parks, traditional festive customs shone with renewed brilliance.
